Apple Polyphenols Supplement

Apple polyphenol supplements support the proverb that, "an apple a day keeps the doctor away." Our apple polyphenol dietary supplement has no known side effects and offers several health benefits. Made with a natural apple polyphenol extract, it is suitable for all health-conscious individuals.

What are Apple Polyphenols?

The term 'polyphenols' is used to describe a variety of compounds occurring naturally in foods. These polyphenols act as antioxidants, helping to neutralize free radicals that could lead to damage to the cells.

It is believed that polyphenols can reduce the risk of various health conditions caused by free radical damage.

To date, there are over 8,000 varieties of polyphenols identified. These are often classified into four main categories: flavonoids, polyphenolic amides, phenolic acids, and other polyphenols.

Apple polyphenol falls into the flavonoids category. This is the same group that accounts for about 60% of all polyphenols, including kaempferol, quercetin, anthocyanins, and catechins.

Polyphenols Benefits

What is an apple polyphenol supplement used for in regards to benefiting health and wellbeing? The apple extract benefits may extend to multiple body systems, providing overall support for health.

Whether you want to look at using polyphenols for weight loss or are interested in apple extract benefits for the skin, it is important to look at the latest scientific studies.

Plant polyphenols are showing particular potential as anti-aging nutrients. In recent studies, polyphenols from apples were linked to a lifespan increase of up to 12% in laboratory models.

Studies suggest that polyphenols activate genes that stimulate both endogenous antioxidant defenses and impact other genes involved in premature cell death. Epidemiological research shows a positive correlation between consumption of flavonoids – particularly apples – in general and longevity.

What do Studies Show About Polyphenol Supplements?

To fully understand the many apple peel extract benefits, you have to look at the science.

Many studies demonstrate the wide-ranging applications and polyvalence of apple polyphenols:

  • Studies indicate that apple polyphenols act as free radical-quenching antioxidants, which increases the activity of the endogenous antioxidant paraoxonase, specifically, by over 20%.
  • Research shows it acts as anti-anaphylactic in certain cases of managing skin health.
  • Clinical trials indicate it may be an effective anti-infective and anti-microbial agent.
  • Studies show apple polyphenols may support gut health.
  • Research shows they may even be effective tooth-whiteners and fighters of bad breath.
  • Studies show it is an anti-allergenic and anti-histamine and may help combat seasonal allergies.
  • According to some research, apple polyphenols may also support blood flow and blood health.
  • Clinical trials show that apple polyphenols may support heart health.
  • Animal studies show that apple polyphenols may reduce the formation of high oxidant compounds.
  • In a research conducted on 45 overweight adults, daily supplementation with 600 mg of apple polyphenols correlated with reduced visceral fat over a 12-week period. In another study, participants who took supplements saw an 8.9% reduction of visceral fat in 16 weeks.

More research is needed to find how polyphenols benefit skin, as well as to understand the relationship between polyphenols and weight loss in the long term.

Potential Apple Polyphenols Side Effects
